2012 NYIAS – Mazda Takeri Concept Gets U.S. Debut

Folks over at the New York Auto Show were today greeted to the Mazda Takeri Concept, which first made its debut at the Tokyo Auto Show last winter. You’d be advised to keep an eye out on this concept, cos as rumor has it, this is pretty much how the 2014 Mazda 6 will look like. The Mazda Takeri Concept comes powered by a Skyactiv-D 2.2-liter diesel engine, and sits on 20-inch satin-chrome wheels – while displaying in full glory Mazda’s new Kodo “Soul of Motion” styling theme. Just in case you were wondering – we do know that the 2014 Mazda 6 will be coming equipped with a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline I-4 engine, that is currently seen on the Mazda CX-5.
