2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport to Commence U.S. Production in July
The New York Auto Show is finally here, and we’re waiting anxiously to catch a glimpse of the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that will commence production in July at the company’s Normal, Illinois plant. The company also announced that the factory will be manufacturing and supplying the 2013 Outlander Sport for the international market (as the ASX or the RVR), and not just for the United States.
The 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will come equipped with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that can generate up to 148 hp, and 145 lb-ft of torque. The slightly refreshed exterior will now feature a redesigned front bumper – complete with a modified grille and new fog lights, black side sills, a restyled rear bumper and new 18-inch alloys. On the interior, we’re looking at a new slew of fabric colors, chrome accent moldings on the doors, and a specially designed All Wheel Control push button. Customers will also now have the option to purchase the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in a couple of new colors – White Pearl and Quick Silver.
