The 2010 Geneva Motor Show, to be held in March has already boosted the preparations of many auto makers around the world to unveil their latest and brightest creations yet, and Carlsson has just made similar plans with its supercar, the Carlsson C25, which is all set to make its debut at the Carlsson stand.

The car is based on the Mercedes SL 600 and has an impressive list of specifications with 6-liter V12 engine capable to deliver 753 hp (554 kW) as well as 1320 Newton metres at 3750 r.p.m, which can be electronically limited to 1,150 Nm of torque. The supercar is pretty fast as it shoots 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds but a limited 219 mph top speed.

Firs impressions of the car shows its impressive ultra-light and forged wheels 1/10 UL equipped with high performance tyres that measure 265/30 at the front and 325/25 at the rear live axle. Super light for their size, they weigh just 11.2 kilograms. Carlsson also provides the car with galactic brakes with 405 mm large slotted race brake discs at the front and 380 mm race brake discs at the rear axle. The interiors have been designed to offer evenly exclusive and user-friendly ambience with trapezoid elements, real carbon fiber, tanned buffalo leather and ultra-suede theme. The car comes equipped with the C-Tronic suspension system which adjusts the ride height and damping constantly to match the driving and road conditions.

Acc to Carlsson CEO Markus Schuster the Super-GT has been designed to be safe on the track as well provide smooth everyday use as he said, “There are more than enough super sports car in this world which can only be safely driven on a race track. Therefore, we deliberately wanted to develop a car which is highly exclusive on the one hand and can be used for the daily journey to office on the other hand.”

Carlsson has planned a limited edition series of the Super-GT with one automobile per country that acc to the company will maintain absolute exclusiveness for its customers. Its pricing is expected to be around 500,000 Euro.
