Facelifted 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser Coming To Chicago Motor Show

The Toyota Land Cruiser with a facelift, which was introduced to the Japanese Domestic Market in December, was announced to arrive on US soil later this year. But a recent announcement by the company states that the vehicle will be unveiled at the Chicago Motor Show which kicks off on February 8th.

The list of goodies on the new Land Cruiser includes a revised front fascia, headlights incorporated with LED daytime running lights, more muscular looking fenders, new exterior mirrors and a pair of redesigned headlights. The interior can be done in color options of Sandstone or Black, with perforated leather seats, high-gloss wood trim and metallic accents. Other gadgets that have been included in the facelifted version of the Land Cruiser include a Multi-terrain Monitor System, a revamped Multi-information Display, and adaptive Cruise Control amongst others.

Under the hood, the V8 Land Cruiser is all but the same, with the same 5.7-liter V8 engine being carried over, to produce output figures of 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. This entire setup is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. Toyota has tweaked the AWD system to function better in the new version. The revamped Land Cruiser will be available in dealerships in the United States by the end of this month.
