Fiat Unveils Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati

It seems that the Geneva Motor Show next month will surely satisfy the needs of every car enthusiasts as various companies are all set to announce their brand new models. Fiat, an Italian automobile manufacturer is one such reputed company which is going to unveil its new coupe — the “Fiat Abarth”, yet another special-edition model of the Fiat 500. Initially, the firm teamed up with Fiat Group’s Ferrari brand with the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari.

But this time, Fiat combines with Maserati for the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati. The brand new coupe is offered exclusively in convertible form (Fiat 500C), and is inspired by Maserati’s GranTurismo model with Abarth applying some rudiments of the sports car to the compact hatchback.

The outer parts of the Fiat Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati are colored in a special-edition paint called Pontevecchio Bordeaux by Maserati. The coupe also comes equipped with 17-inch wheels, performance tires and hexagonal exhaust along with some chrome touches. And about its interior, the customization persists with upgraded sports seats in sand beige Poltrona Frau Leather while the dashboard is trimmed in a matte-finish.

The Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati is powered with a 1.4 liter Turbo T-Jet 16v gasoline engine which makes it 180-hp. The engine is then mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and the stopping power comes from a Brembo braking system.

The Fiat Abarth is the special edition of its previous version — Fiat 500L Abarth —As per the company sources, the Fiat 500L offers MPV passenger space shared with the feel of a small SUV on the road and the restrained dimensions and efficiency of a B segment car, the new Fiat model defies the conventional distinctions between the various segments, combining the typical characteristics of different categories in order to create a distinctive alternative to the traditional B and C segments.
