Sbarro Autobau to Debut at Geneva
Geneva 2010 will see some exceptional unveilings. One among them is from the Sbarro stable.
Maverick designer Frank Sbarro’s Autobau is a rather bizarre concept, almost straight out of a 70’s James Bond movie. He has a knack of entertaining crowds with a weird or wonderful concept at Geneva.
The Autobau - we know almost nothing about it but are pretty thrilled about looking at trying to work out if his car is weird, wonderful or both. It’s very non-conventional and we must not forget it’s a Sbarro. To top that, reports of the Francais-only marketing material affirm the Autobau is a tribute to Swiss racing stud and friend of Sbarro, Fredy Lienhaard.
Weighing about 3,200 pounds, it is equipped with a V12 Ferrari engine with a 6-speed gearbox producing 550-hp. So far, only two images of the concept are out to set our pulses racing.
More specifications and pricing details are not yet out. Stay tuned for more pictures and information of this unique projectile, only er, in orange.
