Although the Veyron is capable of much higher speed, the speed has been locked because of non availability of tire rated that fast. Although it weighs 4160lbs Veyron has been famous for its sharp steering response. Going to faster speeds require a special key which activates a spoiler and lowers the car to a ground clearance of just 3.5inches. Priced at $1.3million it comes no cheap.
