The Nissan GT-R has several things about it that leave people confused. The car belongs to the Supercar class and yet it is available at an affordable price; but then again, maintenance costs are huge! Modification to this vehicle is not permitted and this car isn’t available in large numbers. But then, this supercar offers an impressive all-wheel drive performance and a smooth driving experience and that has attracted a steady base of loyal fans.

The pricing detail for the 2011 model was released yesterday.

The 2011 Nissan GT-R will come with new enhancements and a simplified lineup, starting with a base price of $84,060.

Three additional options are available along with one accessory. These are the Cold Weather Package (no charge), the special Super Silver paint Package ($3,000) and the carpeted GT-R logo floor mats ($280). An Ultra-High Performance Tire Package with Dunlop run-flat tires is also available for free.

Nissan has decided not to produce the base model of the GT-R any more, thus leaving the GT-R Premium as the only available 2011 model. There are some other slight modifications done to the car- slightly darker wheel center caps, double clear coat on the front and rear fascias and the addition of rear cooling ducts to improve cooling performance around the rear floor area.

To enhance ride comfort, the rear bushing has been strengthened and the suspension has been retuned. The automatic headlights and speed-sensitive windshield wipers are now part of the standard equipments, as is the USB iPod interface, Bluetooth audio streaming, “near-black” alloy wheels, and XM weather and traffic capability.
