2012 Chevrolet Aveo Sedan Photos Released
General Motors reported that some of the official pictures of the 2012 Chevrolet Aveo have been released accidentally. Coming directly from the Chevy Studio, these are not real life stills, but retouched illustrations of original shots of this next-generation car.
Chevrolet released the Aveo RS concept at the Detroit Auto Show some time back. It was clear that Chevrolet was aiming for an all new Aveo that customers would like to look at and ultimately buy. It seems like Chevrolet has done justice to their vision as the pictures display an attractive sedan with an obvious similarity in the exteriors to the Aveo RS concept car. The Aveo has got a much needed complete makeover both inside and outside. On the inside, the two tone interior resembles the other Chevy vehicle, the Chevrolet Cruze.
The new 2012 Aveo is a far cry from the modestly priced Aveo model roaming around the streets at present. Chevrolet Aveo has set its eyes on the Ford Fiesta, particularly in the five door form. The Aveo is currently in a category that ranks higher than the Spark and lower than the Cruze. It is possible that the engine and major parts remain exactly the same as in the hatchback version. However, Chevy is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the new Aveo scores highly in matters of styling and exterior and interior designing. Both the analog tachometer and digital speedometer are unusually placed.
The pricing still remains unknown.
