2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG Teaser Released on Facebook
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG will be appearing next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show and looks like the sporty SUV is all set to hit the floors. AMG has released a teaser image on their Facebook page and the idea behind this new ML63 AMG is to bring sport back. With the latest M-class we see oversized square-shaped intakes, similar to the intakes on the BMW X5 M and X6 M performance SUVs, headlights with detailing and a row of LED lights integrated into the front bumper.
From the teaser image we can see that the SUV will have an aggressive front fascia with a three bar grille and LED daytime running lights. This third generation SUV will be powered by the latest twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8 AMG engine producing about 518 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque like the 2012 E63 AMG along with an optional package that could up the performance by 32 horses. A seven-speed Speedshift MCT transmission is expected to handle the shifts, with power being sent to all four wheels. We can also expect a sport-tuned suspension, AMG wheels and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. For more details you’ll have to wait till the car makes its debut at the 2011 LA Auto Show next week.
