2013 Ford Flex Set to Make a Grand Appearance at LA Auto Show

A more futuristic and flashier version of the 2013 Flex is all set to make a grand appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week  with a retro-modern styled front fascia. We cannot completely vouch for its appeal but this model is definitely distinct and striking. New paint colors, added wheel choices and the now-standard Flex badging above the grille – something exclusive for the Titanium trim are other noticeable changes.

Flex has also received a powertrain update, the base 3.5 liter V6 now yields 285 horse power which is twenty more than that of the older version. Fine tuning to the plant has increased mpg for both city and highway driving modes (18/25 mpg).  Interior enhancements include a refreshed dashboard and instrument cluster with the latest version of MyFord Touch incorporated. More safety features including optional rear inflatable seatbelts and a whole lot of collision-avoidance technologies have been added.   More on the 2013 Flex next week.
