2013 Nissan Altima Ready to Hit Markets
The all new 2013 Nissan Altima is ready to hit the markets, according to the automaker. Nissan has just announced that the vehicle will be hitting showrooms at a starting price of just $21,500. Besides, for the potential customers, who have committed to acquiring a new Altima, a complimentary three-year scheduled maintenance program has been organized as well. The automaker assures the new Nissan provides better fuel economy and also the authentic EPA figures for the four-cylinder 2013 Nissan Altima are 27 mpg city, 38 mpg highway, and a combined rating of 31 mpg. This according to the company is far better than its predecessors.
“This is a huge day for the Nissan brand as we ramp up production and begin shipping the new, fuel-efficient Altimas to our dealers. The new Altima is a game-changer for the mid-size market and our dealers can’t wait to share it with our customers,” said Bill Krueger, vice chairman of Nissan Americas.
Talking about its powertrain, the new 2013 Nissan Altima is powered by a 2.5-liter QR25 4-cylinder engine that generates182-hores power and a peak torque of 180 lb-ft. Apart from this version, consumers can also opt for the 3.5-liter V6 VQ35DE engine, which still maintains its 270-horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Pricing of the new model starts at $21,500.
