Nissan has just announced the pricing details of its 40th anniversary Special Edition 370Z, that is based off the original Datson 240Z. The special edition 370Z Touring Model will be limited to 1000 units and will be sold at an MSRP of $38,860.

The car will come equipped with a Sports Package and 6-speed manual transmission. A slew of “unique special equipment” that comes along with the 370Z Touring model include the SynchroRev Match, front chin and rear spoiler, 19-inch Rays forged aluminum-alloy wheels, viscous limited-slip differential, high-luster smoke wheel finish, red brake calipers and Nissan Sport Brakes.

The commemorative 40th Edition Nissan 370Z Touring model also comes complete with 40th Anniversary badges on the rear hatch and front shock tower brace, along with a unique “40th Graphite” exterior color and special red leather-appointed interior. On the interior, along with the red leather-appointed seats comes red door panel inserts, red stitching on the center stack, shift boot and kneepads and steering wheel, and 40th Anniversary debossed seatback and floormat embroidery. You’ll also be eligible for a 40th Anniversary Special premium satin car cover.

It will have the same 3.7-litre V6 engine as the regular Touring model that develops 323 hp. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds with a manual and 5.6 seconds with an automatic, with an electronically-limited 155mph top speed.
