Aston Martin has officially unveiled the new 2013 V12 Vantage Roadster following the leak that occurred last week. The limited edition model has instantly become the most exclusive variant in the Vantage range. “The V12 Vantage models are, first and foremost, driver’s cars – inviting and fully rewarding the driver’s full involvement,” said Aston Martin’s CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez, “The addition to our range of this exceptional new Roadster allows the driver and passenger to experience full ‘sensory overload’ thanks to its outstanding performance.” 2012 marks the first time Aston Martin will make a V12 Vantage without a fixed roof. The new model has a better outlook when compared to the previous images. It features a white exterior color with the red top and matching interiors.

The limited edition V12 Vantage Roadster is powered by a 6.0-L V12 engine that produces 509 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph. Most of its specs resemble the V12 Vantage Coupe. The V12 Roadster features a redesigned trunk lid and lower front air intake to maintain a level of dynamic performance that is similar to the V12 Coupe. There are a number of chassis revisions which include a modified rear damper set-up, front and rear damper valve tuning and a new rear spring design. Carbon fiber is used extensively across the front splitter, mirror caps, side strakes, tail-light in-fills and rear diffuser. As an option it can be added to the interior as well.

New forged alloy wheels complete the exterior enhancement and glass switches are provided at the base of the center stack in the cabin. Normal mode is the default from start-up and provides a relaxed throttle response. The Sport mode which is unique to the V12 Roadster is designed for use in dynamic situations where sharper responses are required. The 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster is available for order now and is priced at £150,000 in the UK.
