The German automaker Audi unveiled the Limited Edition R8, which will be available to order from July. The vehicle that will be launched only in coupe form will have a V8 powertrain. The Limited Edition Audi R8 that will feature either manual or R tronic automated manual transmission is priced from £93,935.

The Limited Edition Audi R8 is created in honor of the tenth victory of Audi in 24 Hours of Le Mans marathon race, which was first won in 2000 by the R8 sports prototype. The new feature-rich special edition road car is based on the hugely successful R8 V8 Coupe.

Only 100 models of the vehicle that will be reserved solely for UK will enter production. Under the hood, the Audi R8 Limited Edition will feature a mid-mounted 430PS V8 FSI engine that can sprint from 0 to 62mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 187mph.

The Limited Edition vehicle from Audi comes with an exclusive titanium effect paint finish and carbon package options. Standard equipment included in the vehicle are Audi magnetic ride, satellite navigation, the Audi Music Interface, interior light package, Bang and Olufsen sound system and Bluetooth mobile phone preparation with integrated seat-belt microphones.

On the inside, the Limited Edition Audi R8 carries crimson red accents to the sides of its Black Fine Nappa Leather-upholstered seats and headrests, which also feature red contrast stitching. To complete the look, the knee pads and passenger door handle are also finished in red leather, and the floor mats have a red surround and feature the R8 logo in silver.
