BMW 5-Series Touring Gets a Makeover
The BMW 5 Series Touring (F11) from Germany’s Kelleners Sport will be making its world debut this week. Kelleners Sport isn’t a stranger when it comes to tuning BMWs. This latest project only adds credence to their reputation as one of the best BMW tuners. Kelleners Sport has redesigned the BMW M5 by giving it a makeover and a power boost. It has decided to give the M5 a comprehensive aerodynamic program with a future modification kit to follow.
Kelleners Sport offers styling parts for both the standard and M Sports model. The styling features include a new front lip spoiler, extended side skirts, carbon fiber mirror caps, a new rear diffuser, exhaust tips, grille and air vent inserts, and an aggressive rear spoiler fitted into the car’s trunk. It also features a new set of lightweight multi-spoke wheels which adds to the sporty aggressive look of the car. Interior the BMW 5-series Touring features pedal sets and footrests crafted from polished aluminium and bespoke leather upholsteries with contrasting seams and stitched seat cushions.
The tuner offers a wide range of performance kits for both petrol and diesel engines providing a performance increase of around 20 percent. For the 535d diesel, the power kit lifts output from 309 hp and 465 lb-ft to 371 hp and 558 lb-ft. The performance is boosted from 401 hp and 442 lb-ft to 483 hp and 531 lb-ft for the 550i turbocharged V8 petrol engine. Completing the performance upgrades of the BMW 5-Series Touring is a set of sport springs that lowers the vehicle’s ride by 30 mm, a sports exhaust system and a choice of alloy wheel design sizes in either 19 inch or 20 inch. The Kelleners are yet to finish the performance modification on the car but considering M5’s capabilities, it is expected to be nothing less than 600 plus hp for the German sports saloon.
