BMW Introduces M135i to the United States in Early 2014
BMW is all set to introduce its latest vehicle — the new M135i to the United States in early 2014 in coupe form. The launch of the BMW M135i will be the first in what will ultimately become a line of M Performance models exclusively for North America. It is expected that the coming of BMW M135i Coupe will restore the 1-Series M Coupe, which ended its production recently after doing fairly good business. More than 6,000 units of M Coupe were sold – 600 of which were sold in the U.S.
According to the sources, the M135i Coupe will be debuted at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, and car lovers are keen on its release as they expect something special from the latest model. The 2014 BMW 135i is powered by the same engine that we saw in the Euro hatch-version that carries a 3.0 liter straight 6 with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine generates 320-hp at 5,800 rpm with a maximum torque of 332 lb-ft between 1,300 and 4,500 rpm. Stay tuned for more news regarding the new M135i.
