China Predicted To Become Second Largest Luxury Car Market

With the recent announcement of the luxury car market dominators, BMW and Mercedes have ever been engaged in a stiff battle, with Lexus lagging far behind. According to reports by Bloomberg, it is most likely that China will steal the second spot for the largest luxury car market from Germany this year.

It is both BMW and Audi that are going to benefit from this change. Estimated reports suggest that China’s luxury market has risen by 39 per cent to hit 939,000 vehicles, clearly surpassing the 914,000 vehicles that are estimated to be sold in Germany.

Currently, in the Chinese market, it is Audi that leads from the top. In November alone, the company recorded a leap in their sales by 69 per cent. In the current year to date, Audi has recorded an increase percentage of 35 per cent through 280,000 cars, while BMW has a 40 per cent jump to its credit over 200,699 vehicles.
