Chrysler Surprises Everyone with Unexpected 2012 Dodge Viper Revelation
Everyone has been dying to see a Dodge Viper ever since the Fiat-Chrysler merger made us wonder if the sprightly sports car had been put on a backbench. All of you can sigh in relief now.
At the end of the 2010 Dealer Announcement Show which Chrysler Group and Fiat held in Orlando, CEO Sergio Marchionne ceremoniously announced the 2012 Dodge Viper. The whole event was about the 2011 Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Jeep and Fiat models; Marchionne waited till the last moment to give the best news of all, and as the Viper rolled onto the stage, talked about the actual look of the next Viper.
Chrysler confirmed earlier that the next Viper will be here within two years. This demonstration seems to be very good proof of that promise. No official details are out about the specifications but speculations are on that the 2012 Viper is going to retain the 8.4 L V10 engine that powered up the Viper SRT10 Final Edition with 600 hp and delivered a torque of 760 Nm.
