Chrysler Teams Up With Warner Bros.: Launches Imported From Gotham City Contest
Chrysler and Warner Bros. — two biggies in their own fields are joining hands to bring fans of the Batman series. A once in a lifetime experience, the new venture is associated with the release of “The Dark Knight” – the latest in the series, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 20th. The two firms jointly introduce a new contest called ‘Imported from Gotham City,’ and the fans will have to create an original co-branded TV spot. Christopher Nolan — the director/writer/producer of the Batman series will select the best TV spot and will be debuted closer to the release date of the film.
Contestants are provided two weeks, which started on June 15th to show off their talent by making their TV spots using Chrysler 300 car footage, film footage and music used in the trailer can be used by the contestants for their advertisements. The voting will start June 30th and the finalists will be announced than. No doubt, Christopher Nolan personally opts for the best.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to tap into the creative community online and allow those who participate to showcase their talent and passion. We look forward to seeing what unique spots people produce,” said Christopher Nolan when asked about this contest. Besides, Chrysler itself has unveiled a 30-second commercial to make a buzz.
