Upon entry, it becomes the first Chevrolet for the European MPV segment.

Designed on the basis of Orlando Concept unveiled in 2008, the 2011 Chevrolet Orlando has a low roofline coupled with crossover inspired silhouette and the car presents a bold appearance while accepting 16, 17 or 18 inch wheels in its muscular wheel-arches.

The 2011 Orlando MPV comes with three engine options: a 1.8-liter petrol engine and two 2.0 litre diesel engines. While the petrol engine will be able to give you an output of 141-hp, the diesel units will provide you with either 131-hp or 163-hp. Irrespective of their hp ratings, all the engines are highly fuel efficient in their classes.

Corvette-inspired dual cockpit design forms the basis of lovely interior of the new Chevrolet car. You may find blue backlighting to the center console just ideal for your personality. The car supports a USB port that will help you re-charge your MP3 player or iPod while on move.er

The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando is equipped with three rows of seats creating an amazing theatre-style seating arrangement. The car is adequately spacious to provide enough comfort to travellers and to accommodate their luggage. There’s also an additional storage area for personnel belongings such as sunglasses, wallets etc. available behind the front fascia of the audio.

The new Chevrolet will be available in 4 trim levels and the car will be offered for sale across Europe in early 2011. Production of the car is slated to start in October 2010. Six air bags, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, electronic stability control, and an air conditioning unit come standard to the model.

The new Orlando MPV kicks off an ambitious seven-product launch program over the next 15 months,” says Wayne Brannon, president and managing director for Chevrolet Europe. “We’re confident the Orlando not only brings great value for money to the MPV class but also something fresh – function with attitude if you like – and the opportunity for us to continue building our volume across Europe. I believe it will also bring more new customers to the Chevrolet brand.”
