Nissan’s luxury division, Infiniti has long been rolling out the best equipped cars in its class, and there has always been a constant demand for more exclusivity from the manufacturer. Not in a mood to disappoint its customers, Infiniti is set to launch a special edition version of its luxury crossover named the FX Limited Edition.

The Infiniti FX Limited Edition will be based on either the V6-powered  FX37S or the V8-powered FX50S models,  and will  feature striking Black Obsidian ‘Scratch Guard‘ paintwork as standard, with an equally distinctive Moonlight White pearl metallic paintwork available as an option. The bad news is that the production will be limited to just 100 units for Western Europe while the UK may expect a count of 18 cars.

The interior styling features of the FX limited edition line includes ‘Infiniti‘ entry guards, carbon fiber trim replacing the standard maple wood veneer, graphite leather upholstered seats, upper door panels and dashboard with contrasting stitching and Alcantara headlining. The exteriors are an amalgam of 21-in turbine-design alloy wheels, new radiator grille, wheel-arch air vents and roof rails and smoked headlight surrounds.

Amongst the standard features is the Connectiviti+ technology package that provides a fully integrated navigation, communication and entertainment system including an 11-speaker Bose® Premium Sound System, the Michelin Guide, full iPod connectivity and a 10GB music box with Gracenotes database.

In the UK, pricing for the FX Limited Edition starts at £55,855 for the 320-hp V6 FX37S rising to £62,035 for the 390-hp V8 FX50S.
