Ferrari Enzo Successor’s Introduction By End Of This Year
Ferrari is currently going on an introduction spree of brand new vehicles, which isn’t something that we are accustomed to seeing. The FF was unleashed from the Ferrari stable last year, and this year we’ve already seen the F12 Berlinetta. And now, the company speaks of a new flagship model – the prospective successor to the Enzo.
Ferrari’s Chairman Luca di Montezemolo has informed that the company intends to introduce the vehicle to a privileged audience by the close of this year. Once that is through, the car will be officially unveiled in 2013. That could be scheduled for either the 2013 North American International Auto Show or the Geneva Motor Show 2013.
Ferrari has been careful about keeping major details about the Enzo successor under wraps. However, speculations indicate that the vehicle may be equipped with the company’s new 7.3-liter V12 – the same that was used for the FF and the F12 Berlinetta. This will be accompanied by a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), which will result in a combined output of 920 horsepower.
