Ferrari F10′s Competitor McLaren MP4-25 Unveiled
As we wait eagerly for the 2010 Formula One season to officially start off, it is exciting to see how the carmakers prepare for it more comprehensively than ever before to comply with the new set of rules thrown at them. After the refreshing treat for the eyes from Ferrari as it unveiled its F10 Formula One car a day before, here is Vodafone McLaren Mercedes with their 2010 Formula One racecar, the MP4-25.

The 2010 challenger was uncovered during a ceremony at factory HQ in Woking. With the same silver-like paint scheme, along with the Vodafone-logo in red and a significantly larger fuel tank, MP4-25 will be driven by the two most recent world champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button partnered together for the first time in Formula 1 history. The car has a very unique aerodynamic characteristic with a rear wing , a feature not used by the team on their predecessor MP4-24 model.
At the ceremony, Team boss Martin Whitmarsh said that he was honored to represent this great team and is happy being “one small part of a group of dedicated and fantastic people.”
Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button had won the last two world championships and are looking forward for this season for another victory. But modest Jensen Button was quoted as saying “I’m looking forward to the season. We don’t want to get too carried away yet. We have a lot of testing in front of us, a lot of hard work before we get to the first race.” Like others the car will be sent to Valencia for the official road tests from Monday.
