Flex-Fuel 2011 Bentley Mulsanne Unveiled
Exotic Cars, First Look, News
If you are an exotic car lover, you must rejoice that the flex-fuel Bentley Mulsanne is on its way. Ashley Wickham, Project Leader of the Bentley Mulsanne 2011, revealed the secret in England at the international launch platform of the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne. The Project Leader, however, did not confirm for any of their future hybrid tech projects.
International launch of the Bentley Mulsanne was a great success indeed. Remembering all of its heritage, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne has been designed to represent “the pinnacle of British luxury motoring”. The assembly line of the 2011 Bentley is located in Crewe and this small fact itself expresses the road worthiness of these new vehicles!
Expressing unflinching respect for their heritage model, Arnage and its variants, Bentley designed its Mulsanne 2011 as a rear-drive model. Mind you, the car is not an all wheel drive. At the concept level of the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne, all-wheel drive option was on card, but discarded finally only to preserve the traditions of the auto giant.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne is more a traditional car than a modern car. It houses a 6.75-liter V8 engine just to produce 505 horsepower to propel the car the Bentley way. The company has no intention of producing diesel models in the near future.
The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne is markedly different from its predecessors in appearance. While commenting on their inspiration to design such a unique vehicle, Design Director Dirk van Braeckel says, “The opportunity to design a new flagship Bentley is something afforded to very few designers. The team set out to create a sculpted form that blended classic Bentley heritage cues with modern lines that allow the marque to stride confidently into the 21st century.”
