Ford Focus Electric All Set To Arrive At Dealerships

The Ford Focus Electric is all set to go on sale in the United States. At a first glance, the striking similarity of the electric vehicle with the standard Focus is quite obvious. Apart from that, the EV does nothing extraordinary to gain attention – it is good enough just as it is.

Ford has not set any huge expectations for the sales of the Focus Electric. According to the sales distribution plan, California, New Jersey and New York dealerships (which some up to 67 dealerships) will receive six cars each. Of the six vehicles, only five will be sold while the remaining will be used as a demonstration vehicle.

Ford does not expect the Focus Electric to be a runaway hit. Instead the company has planned moderate sales figures, expecting about 5,000 cars to be sold per year. The company predicts 25% of its sales by 2020 to be taken over by green cars. More details about the Ford Focus Electric are yet to be revealed by the company.
