Ford Launches Online Configurator For 2013 Ford Fusion: Price Starts at $22,495
Ford has announced the pricing of the most anticipated 2013 Ford Fusion by introducing its online configurator. The automaker has revealed a picture which is virtually the most expensive 2013 Ford Fusion money can buy with every bell and whistle checked off. The model is expected to be priced at $38,940. It is obvious that everyone will not opt for the most expensive version and keeping this in mind – Ford has developed a base model as a refresher. Dubbed the Ford Fusion S, the model will cost $22,495 and it will be powered by the brand’s 2.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that is good enough to pull out 170hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. The power is channeled through a six-speed automatic.
The next model in the lineup is the Fusion SE, which hiked the price to $25,290. The model uses Ford’s new 1.6L EcoBoost turbocharged inline-four instead of its previous 2.5L four-cylinder engine. Without any difference in price, you can opt for either a six-speed manual or automatic. The SE could also be had with a more powerful 2.0L turbocharged EcoBoost engine that pulls out 237hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. The 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid will be priced $27,995, and the top of the line 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium with a starting price of $30,995. The Ford Fusion Titanium will feature a 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder as standard.
