Hyundai Prices i40 Tourer for UK Markets
Hyundai Motors has announced the pricing of its i40 Tourer in the United Kingdom. The Korean automaker noted that the vehicle will be available in three main trim levels, Active, Style and Premium. The Hyundai i40 Tourer will go on sale in September 2011 with price tag starting at £18,395.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer will hit the roads with a choice of three efficient engines, four power outputs and manual or automatic transmission. The vehicle will also feature the automaker’s Blue Drive technologies as standard.
The vehicle will be powered using a 134bhp 1.7-litre CRDi turbo diesel engine. The Active and Style trim levels are also offered with a 1.6-litre GDI petrol unit while the Premium customers can opt for a 2.0 GDI engine.
The i40 Tourer from the Korean carmaker will be equipped with 16” alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, leather steering wheel with audio controls and electric heated door mirrors with integrated LED indicators as standard features.
The Premium models will be equipped with additional leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and supervision instrument cluster with LCD colour display as standard. The premium models of i40 will also have an option of the Lane Departure Warning and Smart Parking Assist, heated leather steering wheel and ventilated front seats.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer is being designed and engineered at the company’s European R&D headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany. All Hyundai i40 models will be supported by Hyundai’s Five Year Triple Care assurance, Hyundai added.
