Horsepower measure in a hybrid vehicle is usually not of a big concern, but it certainly raises our curiosity when we’re considering the likes of the BMW ActiveHybrid X6.
According to the BMW release, the ActiveHybrid X6 gigantic hybrid automobile was supposed to have a massive 480 horsepower engine capacity accompanied with 575 pound-feet of torque. The luxury SUV with twin-turbo V8 engine is still claimed to be the most powerful hybrid type vehicle BMW has ever produced.
Inside Line attempted to test the power 2010 BMW ActiveHybrid X6 has proudly associated with itself and the results are out. Strapping up the 2010 BMW ActiveHybrid X6 at Inside Line for dyno test has revealed a mere 368 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque. Wait a minute. Refresh your memory! Compare the startling revelation with the factory rating for the much hyped up vehicle. Thats a staggering 112 horsepower that has been found deficient in the the dyno test when compared to the actual factory ratings.
