Special edition coupe and convertible versions of the Jaguar XK and XKR are the new buzz of the auto town. Known as the Artisan SE, the new models will cater to a global market, with sadly North America not in the list.

Nevertheless these interesting marvels of designers and engineers are absolutely worthy a glance. The new XK and XKR Special Editions get a major refurbishing inside. These include textured ‘scraffito’ finished leather on the front seats, instrument binnacle, door and rear quarter casings. Also accentuating the interiors are two new veneer finishes, Shadow Walnut and Dark Figured as well Aluminium Poltrona Frau leather headlinings.

Additionally a 525-watt Bowers & Wilkins audio system, a heated steering wheel, 16 by 16 way adjustable heated Performance seats and keyless entry/start are part of the interior package too.

Moving on to the exteriors, Jaguar’s design team does a great job with new 20-inch alloy wheels and a special paint color called Celestial Black to adorn the special edition  Jaguar XK Artisan SE. Those who wish to keep it simple may opt from any of the additional two colors, Polaris White and Rhodium Silver. For the convertible tops, the color palette offers black, blue, gray and brown.

However on the power front, XK’s five-litre, 385bhp V8 powerplant stays intact untouched.

The price as you may ask next  is £77,350 for the Jaguar XK Artisan SE coupe with the convertible offered at  £82,500.
