After enjoying a great start in 2010 with increased sales, Jaguar has now decided to bring two special editions Jaguar XKR in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

The latest evolutions of the supercharged XKR coupe are named the “XKR Speed Pack” and the “XKR Speed and Black Pack”. The main goal of these limited edition cars will be increased performance. The XKR Coupe with new optional Speed Pack features bold exterior styling changes along with electronically limited top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h) that is a significant increase from the initial figure of 155 mph.

Powered by the most advanced and efficient supercharged engine ever produced by Jaguar, the 2011 XKR carries 5.0-liter AJ-V8 Gen III R direct-injection engine mated to an advanced six-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel mounted paddles, lightweight alluminium body structure and a range of computer-controlled systems. The Red brake callipers sit inside the 20-inch gloss black Kasuga alloy wheels.

The interiors too have been given some tweaks with 7-inch Touch-Screen, 16-way heated and cooled memory seats, Jet Suedecloth premium headlining and Flint Grey premium carpet. While a total of seven colours are available on Speed Pack models, the XKR Black Pack will be available in Ultimate Black, Polaris White or Salsa Red. The luggage space has also been increased.
