Lamborghini Murcielago Successor Jota Teased

Lamborghini has teased its upcoming Murcielago replacement a bit too miserly because there is almost nothing except the logo of the brand here. So all that we are sure right now is that the supercar will sport a Raging Bull badge and a hood . It seems we all will have to wait longer to see more or may be until the cars debuts at the 2010 Paris Motor Show in September.

Also known as Jota, the Lamborghini Murcielago successor will also be unveiled to VIPs in July. So may be we get a sneak peak into the car if any early shots leak onto the web. No details have been avaible so far except few speculations that hint that the Jota will be powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine capable of churning out around 700 hp of output. The car will be able to sprint from 0-62 mph in 3 sec with a top speed of more than 230 mph.

Italian marque is expected to ditch the heavy steel structure concept for its supercar and add more carbon fiber to keep the weight as low as possible.Hence Jota will be shorter than Murcielago and also drop the scissor doors to cut down on the weight. As fro the pricing, expect it to fall in the same range as the LP 640
