Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition Makes Pebble Beach Debut
The Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition has premiered at Pebble Beach and is now up for grabs for all the collectors out there. In fact, Lotus Cars will no longer bring out the Exige and Elise models in the U.S. and intends to commemorate the vehicles with limited editions.
The Exige Matte Black Final Edition will be powered by a supercharged and intercooled 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine capable of churning out 257 bhp. Further, the limited edition Lotus Exige will get Matte Black paint, black Alacantara sport seats as well as a high level of standard equipment.
Exclusivity is guaranteed as only 25 examples of the Exige Matte Black Final Edition are to be built complete with their own numbered plate as well as a price tag of $69,900.
Meanwhile, the Lotus Elise SC Final Edition will be powered by a supercharged engine that will deliver 218 hp. The Elise SC Final Edition also gets matte black paint on the hardtop and mirrors. Furthermore, the vehicle gets air conditioning, MP3-Radio, central locking, tracking control and iPod connectivity as standard features.
