Lotus Unveils Evora S GP Edition

Lotus has unveiled a special limited edition Evora S. Dubbed as the Evora S GP edition, this car has been conceived to pay tribute to the company’s racing heritage.
The Evora S GP edition is based on a standard Evora S and is inspired by the Formula 1 grand prix car of the Lotus F1 racing team. The car is covered in a black exterior paint job with golden stripes. Other golden details of the car include a golden Lotus decal in the rear wing and gold colored 19-inch alloy wheels at the front and 20-inch alloy wheels in the rear. The car also features red wing mirror housings. There is red detailing around the front and rear aero bits.
Apart from the stylish exterior, the Evora S GP edition is also fitted with the premium package, technology package and a rearview camera. The premium package adds front armrests, mood lighting, new floor mats and leather trims to the car. The tech pack equips the car with Bluetooth, SatNav, Parking Sensors and a 7-inch touch screen.
The power plant of the special edition is the same as that of the base model. The car is powered by a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 Toyota engine producing 346 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The car can complete its 0 to 100 km/hr sprint in mere 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 277 km/hr.
The car is priced at £69,950 and only three examples of this model will be produced by the automaker.
