McLaren Adds New Styling Tweaks For MP4-12C Spider

Some new styling tweaks and technologies have been added to the McLaren MP4-12C Spider model with an all new folding roof operation. Webasto — a German based company modified the roof, which contains three panels that stack up at the back of the seats for storage. Once the roof was removed, the shape of the vehicle remained intact alongside the glass panel above the engine. The new roof has been wholly built in aluminum and carbon fiber and the car now gets a brand new look.

Powered by the same 3.8-liter V8 engine that we saw in the coupe, the McLaren MP4-12C Spider will be generating 592hp and 422 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle will sprint from 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 205mph, which is also same as the coupe.
