Mercedes-Benz to Debut 2012 CLS63 AMG at LA Show
The German automaker promised that the 2012 CLS63 AMG that is equipped with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine can generate a power of 518 hp and 516 pound-feet of torque when paired with AMG’s MCT multi-clutch seven-speed transmission. In addition to the new powerplant, the CLS63 AMG will get the standard 2012 CLS-Class updated sheet-metal and a restyled rear-end.
Apart from the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, the automaker will also showcase the F-Cell fuel-cell electric vehicle, which will be making its U.S. debut. This EV, which is powered by a 136-horsepower electric motor and a 35-kilowatt lithium ion battery, emits only water and air from the exhaust. This means, this vehicle is absolutely ecofriendly.
The company also has plans to display the whole Mercedes lineup, which is being freshened for 2011. So, get ready for the show to begin.
