Mitsubishi finally revealed the pricing information on its new top-of-the Evolutionary-chart MR Touring model; it is priced at $40,990. The new 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo MR Touring adds more refinement and elegance which moves the hot Mitsubishi sedan into the luxury car territory. The Lancer finally cracks the 40K barrier with the MR Touring, pushing the limits of bargain.

The 2010 Mitsubishi Evo MR Touring, when fully loaded with features, would retail for a humongous-$52,728. An Evo MR Touring only boasting essential features would cost around $47,000.  Power comes from the 2.0 liter DOHC MIVEC turbocharged engine. It generates a power of 291-hp with a max torque of 300 lb-ft. That is channelized to the wheels through a six-speed Twin Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST). It gear system is controlled via magnesium steering-wheel mounted paddle-shifters. It also features 18-inch BBS wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advans, Brembo brakes. All this along with Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel-Control (S-AWC) all wheel drive system propel you in any conditions on any surface at alarming speeds. The Touring adds comforts that make the 40k price tag potentially less alarming. The Limited edition MR Touring is black in color and seems to attract almost every enthusiast. The body works are done in aluminium. The MR Touring will feature a high-res information display between the gauges, standard power-glass sunroof and also the standard lip spoiler.

The new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR Touring also gets gaudy leather RECARO front sports-seats and vibrant side mirrors.  The car gains a few pounds through the extra equipment and the additional soundproofing. However, the use of small lip spoiler drops the rear wing and it saves a bit of the weight. A navigation system package with other features is available for an additional $1900. Also, there is a list of optional accessories to brag. It includes a 40 GB hard disc infotainment system, a 710 watt Rockford Fosgate premium audio and Bluetooth connectivity. The $425 rear parking sensors, a set of wheel locks for $32 and custom side skirts for $900 are other optional. The 2010 Mitsubishi Touring is the perfect vehicle for an aspiring EVO owner who wants to fly high in both style and comfort.
