Nissan Juke-R Priced at $590,000 in the United States
The Nissan Juke-R will be made available in the U.S in limited numbers to customers in a build-to-order basis. The Juke-R will be priced under $600,000. The Japanese automaker finally decided to make the high-performance vehicle a reality. Initially the Juke-R was intended as a one-off concept, but with the reaction of fans after its performance at the Dubai race event Nissan changed its mind.
Nissan Americas Vice President David P. Reuter said, “We will make Juke-R available to customers anywhere in the world on a build-to-order basis. It is intended for serious collectors and investors who want to own a true original, an innovative project that will only be created in extremely small numbers.” He also added that the Juke-R will be priced around $590,000. This pricing is equivalent to that of six Nissan GT-R models.
According to Nissan U.K, offers were being made by people for the original which prompted Nissan to put the car in a “very limited” production. The production model will be based on the drivetrain and chassis of the 2012 Nissan GT-R. The original version was based on the 2010 Nissan GT-R model. The Juke-R cars which have already been ordered will be delivered late this summer.
