The North American division of Nissan, Nissan North America Inc. priced the 2011 Nissan Maxima and 2011 Nissan Sentra sedans in the United States. The sedans are available in the showrooms nationwide at prices starting at $30,810 for Nissan Maxima 3.5 S CVT and $15,520 for Nissan Sentra 2.0 6MT.

The multinational automaker offers 2011 Maxima in two well-equipped models – Maxima 3.5 S and Maxima 3.5 SV. Each of the sedans features a standard 290-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine and Xtronic CVT transmission.

Nissan has included a wide range of technology like premium audio system, RearView Monitor and Nissan Hard Drive Navigation system with XM NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information and XM NavWeather, Voice Recognition and 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive to add more value to 2011 Maxima.

Nissan Sentra is offered in six new models – Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S, 2.0 SR and 2.0 SL. The company has also added performance-oriented Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V into the line up of this sedan.

All four Sentra 2.0 models is powered with a standard 140-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 6-speed manual transmission or fuel-efficient Nissan Xtronic CVT. The performance oriented Sentra SE-R is has a 177-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with Xtronic CVT and the SE-R Spec V comes with a 200-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and a 6-speed manual transmission.

What makes the performance oriented Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V different is the unique sporty exterior and interior designs and exclusive wheel/tire offerings.

The company noted that Sentra is available with a range of unexpected amenities that ranges from the luxury of leather-appointed seating to the convenience of Nissan’s Intelligent Key keyless entry system and Nissan Navigation System with 5.0-inch color screen and XM NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information.
