Orders can now officially be placed for the 2012 Ford Focus ST. The Focus ST is the new hatchback from Ford that will offer high performance and it has a distinctive styling both exterior and interior. It is the first global performance car by Ford and will integrate a collection of advanced and sport-oriented technologies which were unavailable to North American customers. The combination of these technologies will make Focus the most complete compact car range sold in North America.

Ford is offering the GoPro HD Hero2 Motorsports Edition pack camera for the drivers who preorder the 2013 Focus ST. A GoPro is an ideal camera to capture a spirited drive or Focus ST track day. The first 1000 pre-sale orders placed between May 1^st and August 20^th will receive the GoPro HD Hero2 Camera System which will be sent to the buyers after the vehicle delivery. “We recognize Focus ST customers are very social in nature and will love having the right tool to share their amazing drive experiences,” said Lisa Schoder, Ford Focus ST Marketing manager. “I look forward to seeing videos of the Focus ST taking on some great roads across the U.S.”

The Focus ST is powered by an EcoBoost 2.0-L engine and it produces 252 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. Focus ST will offer Recaro sport seats, 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, xenon headlights and leather appointments throughout the cabin. Advanced technology such as MyFordTouch will also be available along with a Sony Audio System, HD Radio and 10-speaker surround sound.
