Renault has just announced the Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy, which is going to be Renault’s fastest off road cars ever made. The car which is expected to make its debut next week at the World Series by Renault in Nurburgring, has 15 hp more than that of RS 250 and a extra torque at 360 Nm.

The newcomer is capable of reaching 0-100 kph in exactly 6 seconds, where as the RS 250 reaches the same speed within 6.1 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is reported to be between 245 kph to 254 kph. However, for extra power you will require to select the ‘Sports’ access.  The 360 Nm torque delivers a broad rev band between 3,000 and 5,000 rpm.  The car engine’s turbo pressure has been increased to 2.5 bars, up by 0.2, combined with a revised air intake to take note of the running temperatures and higher pressure.

The interior of the car features Recaro seats with yellow seatbelts, Renaultsport monitor on-board performance tracking, and an optional Diamond black roof.
