Report: Twin-turbo V6, V8 TDI to Power 2013 Porsche Panamera
Porsche has planned a special upgrade for its Panamera for the year 2013. The infamous and much awaited facelifted four door saloon will not only be flaunting a complete refurbished design, but will also feature two new engines for the new model.
As per the reports across the web, the hatchback that is scheduled to debut in April 2013 will replace the current V8 power source with a new 3.0 liter V6 Twin Turbo. The 2013 Porsche Panamera S will thus be seen giving an output as much as 420 hp. Also the news around the corner is that the car may also get an Audi-sourced V8 TDI. The output figures for this engine however remain unknown.
While those who have had a chance to take a closer look at the facelifetd 2013 Porsche Panamera swear that the model looks almost a new car, Porsche still has a redesigned Panamera planned for the year 2015. It has been confirmed by the auto spies that the second-generation Panamera will be posing for the shutterbugs at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015. Reports suggest that the car will be pinned to the MSB platform and thus shed around 200 lbs (91 kg).
