An innovative eight-speed automatic has been paired with both the turbo engines making the the SUV a notch above the rest in terms of superiority. A third trim, xDrive35d, for the 2011 BMW X5 has been kept unchanged keeping the vehicle consistent with its entry scheme.

The xDrive50i impresses with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. The xDrive35i on the other hand maximizes performance while notably reducing CO2 emissions, going from 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.
