The right-hand-drive variant of the Roadster electric car from Tesla is about to make its way to the Tesla dealers in U.K this month. With the steering wheel on the right, the roofless all electric Roadster will be exclusively available at Tesla’s Knightsbridge showroom in London.

The car carries the U.S. counterparts same features with a few additions like the new and unique sound-reduction materials and upgraded sound system. From the earlier mentions we know that the new Roadster has a 200-mile range and can dash to 62mph (100km/h) in just 3.9 seconds. It has an electronically-limited top speed of 125 mph.

“The right-hand-drive model is our response to growing demand from high-performance car buyers in the UK who are also interested in their impact on the environment,” said Cristiano Carlutti, Tesla’sVice President for European Sales and Operations.

The two seater is said to cost the fans of the new right hand drive Tesla Roadster around £86,950. According to Tesla, the company plans to sell their sportscar worldwide with Japan, India and Australia most likely to follow suit. Prospective buyers can experience the car firsthand at the showroom where it is being offered for a test drive.
