Second Teaser Image of 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Revealed

Chevrolet is gearing up to unveil its next-generation of half-tonne pickups to the world on Thursday, and in order to maintain the hype they have leaked out the latest teaser images of 2014 Chevrolet Silverado just ahead of its debut. The latest image which Chevrolet had posted on its Facebook page are foggy and hence don’t divulge much about the redesigned pickup, but from the previous images that were revealed earlier this year we know that the model will have an evolutionary design. We’ll have to wait until Thursday for a full examination of the “bold exterior design” and “careful attention given to every detail” that has been promised.

From the previous details we know that the model will have an evolutionary design with a massive chrome grille and projector beam headlights. As per Chevrolet, the model will apparently be “stronger, smarter and more capable” than its predecessor. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will also curb its weight, thanks to the magnesium and aluminum usage in its built. A number of aerodynamic improvements are also expected which will increase the fuel efficiency.

Not many details are given about the engine options, but as per rumors, there will be a new V6 to battle the entry-level Ram 1500 and Ford F-150 EcoBoost. There is also the possibility that the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will perhaps get the next-gen V8 engine with possible cylinder deactivation system and direct injection, but there is no official confirmation regarding this for the moment. The upcoming Chevrolet Silverado will go into production next year. The unveiling of 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will be on Thursday, therefore be sure to hop on here to get more details of the vehicle after that.
