BMW has released as a new video of the 2012 BMW M5 showing off the luxurious business sedan’s aggressive and sporty design in black. With a fantastic performance history that only keeps getting better and better the current version of this impressive sedan comes powered by a new generation 4.4-liter V8 engine with an M TwinPower Turbo package that combines track potential with practicality. The eight-cylinder power unit delivers a spontaneous and even acceleration and a seven-speed M double-clutch transmission with Drive logic and M-specific suspension create the kind of unrivalled driving experience that is expected of the M series.

With a highly impressive output of 560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 502 lb-ft from 1,500 rpm it clocks a top speed of 190mph and delivers an estimated fuel economy of 28.5 mpg. The company could have done better with the model’s sprint time of 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds considering the new Audi S8’s reported time of 4.2 seconds but in every other way the model represents a highly advanced stage of the high-performance vehicle. After all the BMW M5 was the first car to offer racing-oriented high performance in a sedan. The super sporty M5 is priced at £73,040 or $118,306 and will go on sale on Nov 19.
