The 2010 Lexus GS Series & GS450h Hybrid Priced







The 2010 Lexus GS series presented to the world during the recent 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show receives some new looks. The 2010 Lexus GS 350 and the Lexus GS 460 get new colors and high-tech goodies. The 2010 Lexus GS 450h hybrid gets some new features and minor cosmetic tweaks.  The tech upgrades for the GS include integrated XM satellite radio receiver and the Lexus standard Premium Sound System.

The cars will also have a new iPod and USB connectivity combined with Bluetooth-streaming audio. The GS navigation system can now access the driver’s mobile phone address-book via Bluetooth and also allow casual language voice control. The navigation-equipped GS cars feature new Lexus Enform telematics system and the Lexus Safety Connect system comes standard on navigation-less GS vehicles. The Exterior color schemes arhave changed slightly, with Deep-Sea Mica taking the place of Black-Sapphire Pearl. Again, Satin Cashmere Metallic replaces Golden Almond Metallic. The interior color option flaunts ‘Parchment’ leather that replaces the ’Cashmere’ color scheme.

The 2010 GS 450h receives a few exterior upgrades that distinguish it from the gasoline-only models. The features include a revised front-grille, clear tail-lamp covers and distinct 18-inch alloy wheels. The hybrid is a rear-wheel drive model and rides on a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine along with a compact electric-motor which collectively produces a power of 340 hp. The GS 450h also features blue-colored hybrid badges to distinguish itself from its gas-only brethren.  The GS models carries over the same power trains, a 303-hp 3.5-L V6 in the GS 350, a 4.6-L, 342-hp V8 in the GS 460, and a 3.5-L V6, 340-hp hybrid drive-train for the GS 450h.  The GS hybrid will accelerate more quickly from 0 to 60 mph (in 0.2 seconds) than the V8 powered GS 460. The EPA ratings of both the GS hybrid and the GS 350 sedan are 22 mpg city/25 mpg highway. The 2010 Lexus GS 350 comes with a price tag of $45,875, and for the GS 450h it rises all the way up to $57,425.
