Toyota has announced the all-new 2011 Toyota Sienna Minivan. Toyota claims that this new Sienna will trend towards resembling a sedan on the exterior, while it will feature an interior which is catered for personal comfort. The minivan has been completely redesigned to accommodate more cargo and handle larger loads, while giving the 2011 Toyota Sienna a more expressive and dynamic feel. The new SIenna will be offered in five new models – Sienna Grade, LE, SE, XLE and Limited. For the first time, Toyota will offer AWD (All Wheel Drive) option on the LE, XLE and Limited models.

The Seinna will be available in a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 266-hp at 6,200 rpm or a 2.7-liter four-cylinger engine that generates 187-hp at 5,800 rpm. Both the engine models offer some of the latest and most efficient technology, including, Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), roller rocker arms and an Acoustically Controlled Induction System (ACIS) that supplies more torque on demand. The V6 will achieve an estimated EPA mileage rating of 18/24 mpg (city/hwy) while the four-cylinder option will receiver 19/26 mpg (city/hwy).

The design for the Sienna was performed by the Calty Design Research Center, while Toyota’s Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan developed the design. The minivan will be assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana.
