Ward’s Auto Announces the Winners of 2010 Best Interior Cars
Ward’s Auto releases a list of the best car interiors in a number of vehicle segments each year. Every aspect of the car’s interior is taken into account- ranging from styling and affordability to functionality and luxury. Ward’s Auto has released its winners for the 2010 Best Interior of the Year award.
Without further delay, the list of this year’s winners is-
- Subaru Outback (Popular-Priced car under $29,999)
- Infiniti M56 (Premium-Priced car)
- Lexus HS 250h (Hybrid car)
- Chevrolet Camaro (Sports car)
- Chevrolet Equinox (Popular-Priced truck under $39,999)
- Volvo XC60 (Premium-Priced truck)
- Acura ZDX (Design Breakthrough)
- Mazdaspeed3 (Brand Expression)
- BMW 550i Gran Turismo (Design Versatility)
- Porsche Panamera Turbo (Inspired Design)
A total of 40 vehicles were selected for the interior award by the editors of the Ward’s. For getting nominated, the car either has to a brand new vehicle or provide significant upgrades in the interior for the 2010 model year.
The 2011 Infiniti M56 sedan was picked by the judges as having the best interior in the premium priced car segment. In addition to all the standard luxury equipments, the 2011 M56 also has air flow, odor and humidity controls. Also, it has a special built-in “Plasmacluster” electronic air purifier that actively finds out and destroys bad odor in the car’s interior.
The winners in all the categories will be felicitated in a ceremony on May 19 at Ward’s Auto Interiors Conference at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dearborn, MI.
