Worlds First Hybrid Diesel Passenger Car: Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4

Expected to be the first hybrid diesel passenger car  in the world the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 that was first shown in Paris last year finally goes on sale in November this year. With the combination of a diesel engine and an electric drive, a combination that gives you loads of power and torque as well as fuel efficiency, it couldn’t get better we say. With light and spacious interiors, comfortable seats and all in all a very classy finish the vehicle is a very practical car and worth the wait.

With a fuel consumption of just 3.8 litres per 100 km and an average CO2 output of 99g/km the vehicle comes with four operating modes: Auto, which optimises efficiency; Sport, for maximum performance, 4×4, which is similar to Sport but torque build-up is limited to the rear and ZEV, where the car runs as an electric vehicle for as long as possible before switching to Auto mode. The fine steering and damping of the standard 3008 are other high points.
